The M'klexa are a species which resembles the jellyfish of Earth. They are from the planet M'klex, a protectorate of the Terran Federation.
Because of the presence of ancient ruins on their homeworld left by an alien race, the m'klexa have developed a religion centered on the ancient species, calling them the "Enkindlers". M'klexa myths often speak of them as an elder race that uplifted and civilized them by teaching them language.
