The Syraths are a near-human species native to the planet Se'al.
During the 22nd century, they controlled a small empire and conquered two primitive species, the Subytt and the B'Nurlac. In the 2120's, the star in their home system went supernova, leading the the Syrath becoming homeless. Their survivors were taken in by the fledgling Terran Federation.
Their religion is formed around the worship of a deity known as Calenthe.
